Douglas Adams once said “I love deadlines. I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by.”
I think it’s fair to say that I’m slightly less enamoured with them, because they don’t so much whoosh by… as run me over!
That said, while very little appears to have visibly changed we’ve started the process of completely redoing instructions using a new format that cuts each stage of installation down to more detailed images that are self explanatory and minimal (if any) text.
This new approach is intended to make it easier for non-English speakers to understand the process or at least reduce the amount of translation required to a bare minimum.
As yet the process has resulted in tons of raw material so there’s still considerable work left to review, edit and process into finished guides but these will be going online, along with guides for brand new printers, in the coming months.
We’re getting there..
